Very nice! I was always looking for instructional stuff like this a couple years ago, it’s still cool to see how people do stuff like this.

    Very well done :)

hee! excellent work, hj and professor yz! “sorry if i stab you in the skull.” classic yasminay! also, i see she cheated a little bit by writing notes on the back of her hand. ;)

=) Thank you for this, buddy boy! That was such a great evening, and now I miss all you Philly rockstars. Boulani and gelato and drinking-chocolate, all within the span of a couple of hours, not to mention rocking company. What more could I have asked for? Thank you for being such a HERO that evening.

And you have inspired me to update the veblog. TWO posts in one evening! Imagine THAT.

Here’s my take on the headwrap wideo:

Heather, I hope the video helps! =) Highfive to HMan’s camerawork and to J’s patience in sitting still and putting up with my silliness related to ‘stabbing’ comments.

Yaser, it’s not so elaborate! When I do it on myself, it only takes about a minute. Glad to know even the non-hijabis could appreciate the video. =)

Baji me lowve, good eyes on you! I noticed the hand-notes throughout the wideo, too. I don’t know what the heck that was all about. Given the sort of day it was, though, it was probably either flight information, or expletives in reaction to my effin’ sucky travel fiascos.

Oh, hooray! Hijabman and Yasmine, this is great, thank you. It’s sooooo much easier to tell what’s supposed to happen when you see someone do these things than when you are going on verbal descriptions or 2-D diagrams. I’m not a hijabi (or even Muslim) but I do often wrap my head and I have always wondered how some women managed to build such grand constructions. Now I know!

Next step: grow out my hair…

Yo, this beats The Farah Khan show on Geo Tv

so HAR PAL CHIT CHAAT CHAAT AND CHAI!

hmm no that doesn’t go very well…alliteration kinda makes it worse..

what am i talking about? I dunno

I HAVEN’T READ YOUR BLOG IN MONTHS! Must catch up!

I feel this empty hollowness inside me :(...it’s terible how I use your blog as life support machine when I’m feeling emo ( thanks to hijabman.com, my emo moments are decreasing)

I’ll mention you in my autobiography when I become an AMAZING heroic JOURNALIST working for Al Jazeera…

    Ciao!

p.s: the graphic thing in the intro was done by Ninjabi, right?
    (I’m such a stalker)

Oh forgot to mention, head wrap thing is funkay…THANK YOU YASMINAY!

I mean, I’ve kinda been waiting for something to help me on how to conjure a wicked headwrap design…could have just asked Google…

But I’m illogical freak like that.

Welcome! This site serves two main purposes: to entertain and educate the Believing and curious community, and to generate a bit of cash—God willing. But there’s a lot more about HijabMan.
