Godiva And My Toes
Today was a good day, despite the fact that I have no feeling in my legs from the knee down.
I got up at around 5 AM to eat breakfast before sunrise and decided on two cinnamon rolls (I really should eat more so im not starving at around 4:40 when the sun goes down) If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go to the previous entry (Ramadan). I went to work at 10 AM, and started working my ass off. I am now able to block out all the christmas music that constantly repeats itself…
the woman giving free samples of godiva chocolate (good stuff) wasn’t very helpful in not making me feel hungry. But I found out that she cut herself cutting pieces of fudge, and when one of the managers saw red stuff on the pieces, she asked “oo is that a raspberry topping?” The woman replies, “No, its my blood.”
so at around 4:30 I took my break, and ate a grilled cheese sandwich (they gave us food today) and downed two lipton nestea’s. Nothing extremely funny happened, but I realized that I’m able to be alot more animated when I’m working. I don’t know how i do it, but at work I’m actually able to talk and make conversation and “be” witty. I think it may be the suit, I got “mystery shopped” (where someone buys something from me, and sees how i treat customers, then reports to the store how i did, “exceptionally friendly, friendly or unfriendly”) I got friendly. He paid with cash so I couldn’t say his name. so by default i got a friendly. Usually I get exceptionally friendly’s. But part of his comments were “Well dressed” heeheeheeheheeeeeeee I couldn’t help but smile for the next 10 minutes. So yes, I think its the suit.
My mom was suppose to pick me up in the food area of the mall, but she was a bit late, and I saw one of my friends from high school (shes a freshman in college now) Molly. (Shes the one mentioned in the marriage application as a 27 on the scale of 1-10). So she walked about 50 feet away from me. And I felt sort of weird because I didn’t know what I would say to her when I got there. But I forced myself to get up and catch up to her. I said Hi, she said Hi. She said I was dressed up. I said because I was at work (motioning to my badge) I commented on how her hair looked nice, and it was sort of a slow conversation because it seemed as though we were both clueless as to what to say. But she asked me how school was, and i said i was graduating early and then she had gotten her food and she had to go. And for the next 30 minutes, I smiled.
Oh, and my dad’s car got hit while he was in it by some lady who thought that my dad would take advantage of her and make her pay for his whole car.
My dad has just notified me that he also gets tingly paranoid feelings in his toes when he sees people jump out of airplanes, bungee jump, etc. Genetics baby ! GENETICS!
